  1. There has been an update So far, there are now 13 pieces in the collection of the Rags of the Red Light District. More information to come in the next weeks or so,
  2. I am up for a challenge. It is a piece that I started as early as 2007, and I am hoping that the long wait will have something positive.
  3. Into the Black Sea we go, as a major battle is taken to the streets by ordinary citizens. These citizens are marching to fight for the dignity of the human, and in doing so must wage an inevitable war against tyrannical forces, who sole purpose is destroying the dignity of people. The following music is inspired by and based on existing music from Grieg, Haydn, Lyapunov and Bach, as well as video game music from Goldeneye 007. Makhachkala.sib Makhachkala.mid
  4. The following twelve pieces are transpositions of each other, but varying greatly in regards to tempo and time signature. There are some parts that are added that not all of the rhapsodies feature. But my reason for doing all twelve minor key signatures is that the key signature is as important in a piece of music as is tempo or mood. If you had a romantic piece in G major, it would not have the emotion than if the piece was in A or E major. 6. I still do not know if the following music will be set in a play using these rags. For all intensive purposes, these rags just showcase life from a tourist's perspective: walking in the streets of Bucharest to the delight of many jolly residents, dancing in the day. 7. The title of this collection of four pieces can sound awkward. But this is the continuation of one man's road to redemption, as he travels to four major cities (Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Hamburg and Cologne) to understand more about his purpose in life and the lives of women by taking a tour through the red light districts. The euphoria he experiences in Amsterdam changes quickly as his tour in Alkmaar is met with more reflection. The reflection continues as he tours Hamburg, before the climactic celebration and rejoicing in Cologne. These rags are mostly based on Scott Joplin rags (you'll know the difference if you see the manuscript). Any problems, feel free to contact me. Alkmaar.sib Amsterdam.sib Cologne.sib Hamburg.sib
  8. I'm sorry, but I am not familiar at all with MP3 players. In fact, I don't even own one. But check the sibeliusmusic.com website. I have the piece in manuscript, and you can listen to the music from there. Antonio Martinez
  9. The road to redemption begins here. Loosely based on excertps from the Bible, the main character begins his roady to heaven in Berlin, where he rides on the river and is faced with the ultimate temptation at the Olympiastadion, similar to that of Jesus Christ's temptation by Satan in the desert. This piece can also be seen in sibeliusmusic.com Belgrade.sib
  10. I have some additional information about this piece on the Sibelius website. The story is similar to that of the Prodigal Son in the New Testament, but set in modern day Vienna, from the brothels of Praterstrasse to the climactic ceremony at the Ernst-Happel Stadion. Here the road for forgiveness end, and the main character is united with his long lost mother, as they walk together toward the gates of heaven. Vienna.sib
