  1. Hey, so I fixed the ending on it, made it not so weak. In fact, it's quite exciting. So here's the revised version of it. Crimson Flight.MUS
  2. So here's the story: I wrote a song about a friend's dog, named Buttons. Now Buttons happens to be a toy poodle, which we all know, can be an extremely hyper/annoying type of dog, but also cute, in a weird sort of way. The song starts off where "The master" comes home, so of course the dog is BEYOND excited, even if the master was only gone for say, 10 minutes. The second part quiets down a bit, but still keeps the same energy (Buttons is still really excited) and he goes on a mission to sniff absolutely everything, run around in circles, and just be a really happy dog for a while. Eventually Buttons gets tired, and decides to take a nap, where he enters "Doggie Dreamland" and the piece finally slows down for a bit, BUT.... Buttons' sleep is abruptly interrupted when he realizes that another person (the milkman) is here. So, like dogs do, Buttons goes poodle commando on the household. The milkman comes to drop off their milk, and he gives Buttons a doggie bone, so it's all good, Buttons is happy, the 2nd theme is reinstated in a finale, and that's the song. Now here's a picture of the dog itself, and a little plotline that shows you when the styles change in the song. Buttons_.MUS
  3. ;) ......download it.......or buy the full version....on the website.....
  4. Yes, yes I do.... Finale Allegro 2005 tho >_
  5. Thanks for the comments and everything! Yeah I know what you guys mean about the ending...maybe I'll try to alternate that a bit. It was kinda just like "the last few moments" in the "flight" and that's where the flight stops and they land peacefully, or something. But it was still kind of a weird way to end it, musically...so yeah
  6. Hello there, my name's Kyle and I've been composing for about .... 2 or 3 years now, and this is a piano piece I've just written and I know that the structure of is quite strange, but I would just like to hear what you guys think. Thanks! -nf Crimson_Flight.MUS
  7. lol...wow....uhm, sorry I don't really have much knowledge in music theory, so that pretty much SOARED over my head like a jet. But yeah, I know it sounds kind of akward in places....maybe I shouldn't delve into something with such complicated guidelines...but thanks guys ;)
  8. Shoot, uhm...make sure you set it to start playing at measure 1, sorry about that heh it's on measure 33 right now.... ;)
  9. Ok so I'm writing something that I think is a samba? or maybe it's a rhumba, or a bossa nova, or a mexican hat dance, or whatever. I'm going with samba, for now. It's gotta be one of those, and maybe you can't pick it out because in a way it's kinda up to me....hmm I don't know, give it a listen and see what you think....if you can tell me what sort of latin genre it is, that would be sweet. Thanks ;) Green_Samba.MUS
  10. Hey, this is a compostion I'm just starting out for my highschool band to play.... I have the first fanfare part somewhat down....but I don't know. Is it just getting too complex? There's something about it to where it doesn't sound like.......ugh, I wish I could explain it......it doesn't sound.....complete. (I mean, it's not done, but I don't know if all the instruments that should be playing are in there) Fanfare.MUS
