    Im a tuba Major in the Coservatory of Music Of Puerto Rico and am vnterested in composition and have taken classes and thinking about doing a second major in composition.<br /><br />Latin Jazz, Salsa, New AGe, Swing Funk, D&B, Trance, aynthing with ryhtm as well as Ambient Music also espeacially cant forget about classics Mozart, Chopin, Beethoven, Vivaldi.

    usually in latin Jazz you have the Basic II V I chord progression and forget about drummer use latin percusion, COngas bongo Clave( 2-3 or 3-2 style) timbal you dont need a drummer and listen to some good groups like Celia cruz, EL gran Combo, tito puente, victor manuel etc... these groups will give you an idea to tradition Latin style Jazz or just salsa in general and if you want to hear the diffences in salso celia cruz style is cuban style compared to El Gran Combo which is more Puerto Rican Style.
