  1. I recently found a jazz cords book for piano that has all of the cords that are found in common jazz music. It was in the music section at Borders.
  2. I would have to say vivaldi as my favorite.
  3. Hey thanks. One thing I want to say is that for some instruments, like the bass clarinet, they're not so much "unusual" as they are left out. We had a bass clarinet in our jazz band last year, and my brother played on one when was at school, bass clarinets are great jazz instruments they're just so quiet compared to most other jazz instruments that they rarely stand out, and are mostly left out.
  4. I recently when through a jazz workshop and instead of playing an instrument like a saxophone or clarinet, I decided that I would try to play jazz bassoon. It was fun and ,at first, hard to make the bassoon a jazzy but as I practiced it got easier and more fun. I know I'm not the first but I don't know anyone, personally, who plays unusual instruments in jazz.
