Hey John, I have listened to you creation, and must say i love it. I don't really have a solid theoric musical background, to describe your music in standard musical terms , but I have been composing for 18 years. I can write for a full orchestra only with my musical ear... I love the colors of your music, not sure what scale it is but the results are pretty good. Especially the tension that goes on at 3:03, and the conclusion that follows is captivating. For sure you know what you are doing keep up the good work! Nick

Ron, Really a perfect blend of the images and you well conceived music. I love the way that each instrument has it's own way of describing it's perception of emotions. But combined together they make it even clearer. Love it! Nick

I must agree, this is a great piece...Well composed. Especially the begining with the percs and majestic entrance of the brass, is just sublime.. Good job! Nick

Each of the styles, I think, Will have a different approach a different "foundation" and definetely a different structure. Wich means that thetre is no good way to start. ANd It really depends on what you want as a result... I think if you just use one technique, there is no way of finding new approach or writing techniques that will improve and extends your compositonal skills. I usually " Go with the Flow", and welcome new techniques and let the ideas come as they were ment to come out. I wish you all good creations!

I usually love to extend the creative work and find an original name for the piece... I think it can add so much to have an original title by it's uniquity, and make an immediate association to you and your work...kind of like a signature. Here's some tips: 1- be creative and original 2- use words that are not frequently used 3- take the emotion of the piece ( image in mind, atmosphere, musical colors) and think of a situation that describes it best. 4- always put aside titles that sounds close to existing ones 5- think outside the box 6- don't rush, and remember the first idea is often the best ( or something around that will be) Nick

Ron, I have listened to this piece more than once, and each times, it gives me an addiction dose to those beautiful notes and atmosphere. Really feel like drifting on a raft with no land sight. Personnaly I was picturing myself so much at the sea , that I was seeing a shark comming my way... and I would have loved to hear a ''pinnacle moment ''more contrasted with the others, But the way you wrote it, makes it feel like what it should be ''Solitude at sea''. Meaning no encounters..... Good thing no sharks came your way.... Amazingly well done
