Hey fellow music lovers,
Tell me what you think of my first composition, the hymn "Christ, Mighty Savior." Basically it was an assignment in which we had to pick a text for a hymn, write a melody and harmonize simply with SATB. There is no real form (I'm very beginner, 3 years classical guitar, 1 year theory/aural skills is the limit of my formal training). I don't consider it a serious composition that I laboured over, but more along the lines of an exercise. It is intended for choral, but the midi timbre is set to strings... but you'll get the idea. For the record, I'm 18, and started to immerse myself into the world of classical music about a year and a half ago. Any feedback is appreciated.
PS. I know the rit at the end is over the top... I couldn't figure out how to change it!
