  1. Haha you guys! Well i'll give it to you tomorrow!! As a matter of fact... it started out as a jazz song... but it ended up more a bit rock like... So i guess... mix jazz with rock and you get a sort of rougher type of funk... The chord progression is absolutly funk... And for the bossanova bridge... i think thats just a confermation of the funk... So we'll upload it when its done! Greets
  2. hehe thanks ^^ well if someone wants it for a video game :P be my guest!
  3. I like your style too! Maybe you want to do a colab for a song? I really like to improvise ;) I made a little improvisation with piano, bass, organ and sax. Well the sax isn't really a sax... but the closest thing I have to it. Its more like a weird synthesizer... -On the Go- So send me a message if you want to make some music ;-) Greets, Chris
  4. Here's my latest creation. Please listen to it, and tell me what you think! The piano is a live recording. -Renewed- Hope you like it! Greets, Chris
  5. thanks ;) i will look into it... although my sax samples are just awefull... I really need to find some new ones... (I use Reason 4) Well, thanks for the comment!
  6. Hey everyone, Here's my newest creation. I wrote it on a thursday, which in dutch is Donderdag. The exact translation of donderdag is Thunder Day.. There for the name! Its a more pop/rock like song. Please give me a comment!! Thunder Day Greets, Chris
  7. thanks for you replies! this isn't ment to be a song with lyrics... but hey if you want to write em... be my guest!!
  8. Here's a piece of music I made. Ive been working on it for a week or so, and it seems finished. -Sunset Island- Tell me what you think!! Greets, Chris
  9. Thanks guys! It's great you think it doesn't need any vocals! But I've got someone writing some lyrics for it now and she's gonna sing it aswel... So it can only get better from here!! C ya!!
  10. Here's a more classical themed song I made. Please tell me what you think and what could be improved! Cause I'm learing and most of all experimenting! http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/227942 Cheerio! Chris
  11. Here's a little song I worked on. It makes me feel happy and reminds me of a lovely spring day. Tell me what you think! I've got some lyrics laying arround, but got no one to sing em just yet, maybe later! Nothing that special or technical, just a lovely little song ;) -Spring Cheerio! Chris

    Troubles

Hey there, I'm not a guy that writes great stories... So I was wondering if you could possibly help me with making lyrics for a song of mine. I titled it Troubles, but of course it can always change! Here's a link to my song: Troubles I'm curious if you can come up with something! And I'd love to hear what you made of it! Greetings, Chris
  13. You detected right! Normally I'm not so fond of classical themed songs, but I wanted to try something else. I'll look into the middle section, although I found it pretty hard to keep it classical. I'm more a funky, grooving kind of musician. But thanks very much for the review!
  14. Hey there, After a while being very busy with my study, I found that I had a spare afternoon. After listening to all sorts of music I got a little bit of inspiration. I got to my piano and laptop and started working... It wasn't really coming out the way I wanted so after two hours I stopped and started drinking beer with some friends. That went on for quite some time and when I got home the sun was already coming up. But then... when I opened my front door I got a little spark of inspiration. There was a melody! The first thing I did was stumbling to my laptop to put it on (well... in fact not really the first thing I did, of course I made a pit stop at the toilet first :P) After half an hour (very very long...) I finally got my piano connected to my laptop. Then I quickly played the melody I came up with and practically fall asleep on top of my piano. It was about 4 o-clock when I finally got rid of my headache, and after a beer or two I was able to finish the song. So here it is: Propitiation Of course I know it's rather short and maybe not that original, but I felt really good making it and afterwards listening to it. Hope you share my enthusiasm or otherwise come up with some good critics why not! Hope to hear from you! Greets, Chris
  15. Thanks for your review, I'm working on a renewed version at the moment, but I'm kinda busy. I'll post it when it's done!
