  1. I still very new at composing music. So be gentle. Anyway, I just want to hear your thoughts. Paino.MUS Paino.MID
  2. And here's a MIDI Ensemble2.MID
  3. Thank you leightwing you helped a lot. I hope this is better than the one I had before, though I still think it needs more work and once again I'm stuck. Ensemble2.MUS
  4. Can anyone tell me why in Finale 2006 that the tempo slows down dreadfully slow in the very last measure? I have never even messed with the tempo to accidently change it. Also why does every once in a while the sound in the during the playback just turn off?
  5. I haven't been able to remember a dream with out some sort of music. Lately when I'm not focusing on something or listening to other music, all my rambling thoughts seem to even have back up music. Is that odd? Anyway, I love just tring to figure out what my unconscious mind is doing or using my mind to twist and distort my vision so that I see what I want to see(once I've imagined a baseball flying at me it was real enough to me that I blinked). Since forever I been tring to recall what my dreams were but with little sucess. But, after I have fallen asleep I have became somewhat conscious (scary though because I felt paralized and I COULD NOT MOVE) yet still hearing and experince everything in my dream world. Even though this was only a few seconds each time, I think 17 years of work allowed me to experence and remember both my conscious and unconscious memory.(Yet I cant seem to remember the music I know that is there and I hear it but I can never pick out any details). The human mind is by far God's greatest creation. You dont have to tell me I am strange. Trust me I know.
  6. For me I, wrote music since the first time I have ever played a note. I was 10 and that was 7 years ago. I always had trouble remembering techniques. So, anything that I was taught and that I thought was important I wrote my own song for as a reference libary in my mind for future use. If you can belive it, I can still remember almost every little song I wrote. I'm now in the process of writing them down while at the same as composing others. No belives me that these song are stuck in my head and I'll never forget them. They are forcing me to write them down. It's a long, long process!
  7. I am heading in that direction even though it was not my original idea when I begin. But, what I need help with is the fact that both the clarinet and the oboe is resting during a lot of the song. Who would want to play a song that you only play half of the time? In my opinion it would be boring. Also, I want to extend the piece with the french horn as the melody maybe even as a solo and I cant think of how to do it or at least make a transition in to it. I was thinking about combineing the begining and the middle sections so that the current end isn't exactly like first but I couldn't work that out either.
  8. I need help. There are parts in this that just isn't right. I'm having trouble puting notes in the right spot so it doesn't sound off. Please can you give me some suggestions?!! Ensemble.MUS
  9. 1. Techniques used All I did was play some random thing on the paino and formed it into a song. 2. How long it took to compose the piece I don't know. I've always had this tune or another in my head. Tell me if I just heard parts of it somewhere and writen it in my piece. I've had people reconize parts of previous ones when I have never played it outside my home. I have a hard time telling the difference of a tune I pick up somewhere or one I thought of myself. Too many different songs run though my head. 3. Structure of your piece Its a duet. 4. Obstacles when composing Playing all four hands by my self 5. Summary of overall piece It's different Song01duet.MUS
