  1. Troll is a piece i wrote for my ensemble consisting of trb, trp, clar and piano. I found inspiration from electronica, metal and video game music. The title comes from the cult movie troll and the inspiration i drew from its soundtrack. Troll
  2. Hello fellow composers! This is a new song i have written for my ensemble. The work is inspired by a free living artcommunity at hausmannsgt 34. I have used the riff from arctic monkeys humbug,(can be heard in the exposition). You can also hear a theme from another composition i have made, in major instead of minor after the lyrical second theme. score: Finale 2007 - [hausmanns gate].pdf - File Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage mp3: Hausmannsgt 34.mp3 - File Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage
  3. Nice stuff, i enjoyed it. the cord progression is really similar to phillip glass.
  4. Sorry but... was that comment meant ironic? because i really mean it. i have always liked the way john zorn and that trumpet player in masada communicate. its like their speaking to each other. and i think i hear it here too? am i being wrong?
  5. wow. nice i enjoyed. :) i dont play jazz, but i listen to alot of free jazz. really good rythmic section. the trb and sax communicate good together. the communication reminds me off john zorn`s mazada.
  6. Hello everyone! This is my new piece norwegian dance for trb, trp, clar and piano. I have used a theme inspired by Harald S
  7. In my ensemble writing: 3 against 4, minor keys, jazz, Ugly trombone and trumpet against "sweet virgin in need clarinett" with the piano on both sides.
  8. Tango pampovo is a new song i have written for my ensemble. I have tried to use a funny theme, along with some dark melodies. I know its not a tango, but i really enjoyed the name. so, enjoy, tango pampovo. :) tango pampovo.mp3 - File Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage
  9. oooh nice opening. it really caught my attention. i think you succeed in creating the mood of being alone in the universe. very well done!
  10. the start really sound like vaclav nelhybel corsican litany for concert band. it starts promising but after a while it gets boring. nice harmonizing. and you could also make a counterpoint bass after a while. the ending dont sound right. i miss some strong melodies.
  11. nice rythms. loves death metal likes this. it remindes me of mesuggah. love the 12 tone melodies. they sound more jazzy than weird. good work! a little hint of dillinger escape plan in there? :P you should check out mathcore. a very similar style to this.
  12. it sounds nice. as you said. a nice little song. but i miss some melody. it has really nice chords and stuff. love the drums. but i just miss some nice vocals over it.
  13. lol very nice start. haha i laughed. i think it over all sounds really nice. it made me smile. i think the second time the theme ends it ends a little sudden. and it would be awsome if you added a b part with the theme in minor evolving into some variations and some nice countermelodies. but really nice work! i really liked it. it made me laugh. :)
  14. i agree with the others here. the first idea is good but it gets boring after a while. but you have done a nice work with the voices under the melody. sounds really good.
  15. sounds nice. but the clarinettpart sounds kinda hard. and after hearing the midi i am questioning if it is enough time to breathe between the phrases. but its a nice piece of work. i liked it :)
