  1. Well, we all know GM sounds are bad. No point in pointing it again (i just did... didn't I...) The piece is GrEaT! I loved it. develoves correctly and to the point. :) I have got to know the truth about one thing though... What came 1st? this composition or the name for it? :)
  2. I m sorry Ron... but it had to happen eventually.... I didn't like it. The guitar is great, the idea is nice but it's too messy for me. the volumes are crazy high in points and the notes don't fit. it make it sounds like....... noise. I kinda lost it at minuts plus... Sorry Ron.
  3. Very nice indeed, although I would suggest making the cellos a little softer. they are too sharp for my taste. after about a minute there's a mellody that is played by the violins and the piano. I would not use the strings with the piano at 1st. try it. other then that. nice job
  4. wow.... it actually made me get into the action. I think there's too much reverb on the strings so they become too far on the upper notes. abit messy with the percussions although definately the right stuff! other then that, Congrats on a GREAT piece. :)
  5. IT'S BUILT WONDERFULLY! I love the idea that you took it to a sensitive place after a short while. it makes you think of the scene it was made for. I do think you could have givin more "breathing space" for the horns so it would sound as if reall people are playing. same for the flutes. Other then that, you're good. Ricardo Gidon
  6. about 3 days. I never really had time to do a good mix. I am going to remake these because they were made with an EDIROL. Today I am using EWQL which is absolutly fantastic in comparance.
  7. this thread is way to empty! I actually thought I was better... guess i'll have to work harder.
  8. It's absolutley messy and unhearble. The main idea is ok but the production is made completley wrong. The ECHO all over the track, the low quality, the timing, the instruments... Big NO NO from me.
  9. Well... James said about 4 times more of what I could have thought of... So I'll just add that at 1st I didn't read the whole post, I just began hearing the music. I said to my self... the preformance is not that good... but then I read that you did it all...... ALONE! :) That's something to look upto my friend.
  10. The track is nice but I have not felt the connection to Wall-E's trailer. I actually thought it would fit a humoristic Villain's character rather then a whole clip.
  11. Very nice indeed! the sound is mastered perfectly or so it sounds. :) You have the dramatic sence of the anime.
  12. The is great. The only thing that actually ruined it to me was the facts that the strings and the brass sounded synthetic (I know... because it is... ) and in the 3 quarter of the piece, the notes of the violas spiccato, just didn't fit. it sounded messy and written wrong, as if you couldn't decide on the notes so you just let it rip... :)
  13. I'm sorry... but it's just... noise and beat. maybe on "Alien Worlds" this would be ok... Don't know, I personaly think it was a few minuts of noise.
  14. For a girl? no... not really, I was actually thinking more of like... 4 or 5 girls... :)
  15. Hello all and... how's it hanging? This track is part of a 11 track album. This version was recorded from the CD deck in a test party of the album. so it has a little...... too much echo. :) however, I think it's actually better then the mastered one. kick the link - Hello Amiga please don't move it to the middle. hear it from the beggining till the end. oh... and dance! :)
