  1. Sounds folk inspired. Like rolifer I think it makes great soundtrack and it didn't get boring for me. Unlike Beethoven guy though I found the harmonies rather mature and expressive. :)
  2. Thanks for being so kind. :) Will check out the book and program.
  3. Lol was it my reply? I was serious... Thanks for listening. I'm aware of the flaws you both mentioned and I will do my best to avoid them when I write more serious pieces. I'm interested to hear more about the flaws in the orchestration part, this being the purpose in attempting it. I won't take them too hard so please don't keep me in the dark...
  4. Hugo Wolf's setting of Abschied.
  5. My first attempt at ensemble writing. Please tell me what you think of it... mp3
  6. Sorry about the incident. :( Sounds amazing, like a dramatic film music. Must have been traumatic.
  7. LOLZ Thanks!
  8. For marimba and piano.
  9. Ok thanks again, will keep that in mind.
  10. Thanks for the suggestion. :) Thanks, you're right, I assumed that the clarinet in D is a better choice because of the key, not knowing it is a rare instrument. I also didn't delve into the background knowledge of these instruments, choosing them purely for convenience off the list Sibelius gave me. I'm not sure about C score, do you mean the brackets that Sibelius automatically creates for ensembles or the notation in sounding pitch?
  11. I used a heckelphone... Don't you all like heckelphones?
  12. Amazingly nice. :)
  13. I'll admit I don't fully understand the beauty of its deliberate primitivism, but I found it soothing. :)
  14. I enjoy it. :) Simple and pretty.
