I've been composing for almost 12 years now, and the major influences in my composing range from Mozart through to Bernstein, and anything in between. I would have to say that I would love to work on an opera! I've wanted to work on one for the longest time but never had the ability to write even a decent libretto. Perhaps I could take a look-see over it? I've mainly done compositions for orchestra and symphonic band, so writing for large ensembles is fairly easy to me.
