  1. Hopefully this piece is exciting and beautiful! The sounds are straight from Finale Allegro, so they kind of suck, but I think you can get the compositional flare notwithstanding the sound library. Comments are very welcome! The Fantast for Piano Quintet
  2. Thank you for the wonderful suggestions Dev. I have known about combining the percussion staves, but just have not got down to it. I'm using Allegro and if there is a way to group 7/8 into 2, 2, 3, I am unaware of it. When I learned theory, I learned about 8/8 as 3+3+2. What do you mean too much on the percussion? Too long? I don't understand.
  3. I listened only to the third movement. The extensive use of quartal harmony left me waiting for a resolution. The fact that it did not happen until the last chord (sort of) was a bit odd, but I liked it. Also, if the way the timpani sounds in the midi is how you want it to, then you should probably write it for some sort of tom- the "timpani" sounds nothing like timpani. All in all, pretty good :)
  4. What a nice, fun piece. The parts, in my opinion, meld together nicely. Nice chorale and recapitulation at the end.
  5. Hello! I wrote this piece last year. Please provide constructive criticism. It is entitled Revelation and is loosely inspired by the last book of the Bible.
