  1. Bonjour everybody:D I've been studying french for sometime now and now I'd like to purchase some french books on music. Does anyone now any really good french books on music theory or music history or whatever. (I really like reading about music theory) I have been searching a little bit on my own but I'm not enough good at french so I find it really hard to find websites or books that might be the right ones for me:( So, please tell me about some great french books that deal with music theory or music history.
  2. Hi Everybody!!! I'm very recently got very interested in music theory etc. and therefore I'd like some help with which books to buy in order to learn the most. So if you know of some REALLY GOOD books on harmony, theory, counterpoint, composition etc. tell me about them :)
  3. Hi everybody! I've noticed that it starts to hurt a little bit on the sides of the wrist when I play wide intervals on the piano. One day I tried to play the Chopin etude op 10 no 11 and I felt kind of a pain in the middle between the hand and the forearm at the spot where the wrist is like hardest. So my question is: is there anything I can do to prevent from this pain, or does it go away naturally when you've played for a long period of time??? :)
  4. Hi there everybody! My music teacher once told be about a symphony(I don't know if it was a symphony but most likely) that would sound just like the waves of the shoreline or the beach. And it was pretty clear that he meant like real water and not just an association. The problem is that I don't remember the name of the composer or the work but I think that the composer comes from Sweden and that his first name might be Daniel. So if anyone has heard a symphony sounding just like real waves, let me know about it:) Thanks!
