I'm glad you all enjoyed it. I do have plans for a second movement Jrcreamer, which i will try contrast with the current theme (slower tempo, more dramatic.) And yes i am familiar with Prokofiev's work and am a BIG fan. Hes a great source of inspiration! Thanks again for listening and ill make sure to keep you posted on any developments.

Very Nice. Sounds professional and fun. Wish I could play piano as clear as that. I don't know much/anything about ragtime music, so I'll leave all the technical jargon to people who they know what they are talking about. Same here. Ive been using FL studio (aka Fruity Loops) for years scoring everything from electronic DnB to full fledged orchestrated music. Never have had any problems. I find its user interface very simple to use. However live recording is not great, well not in FL studio 8. I think the whole "best DAW" debate really comes down to personal preference. My advice would be to download as many DAW demo/trials as you can and just play around with them. You'll eventually find one which suits your creative style.

Very Intricate composition. This must of taken some time. Very beautiful and great work with voices. Is everyone on this site a professional/student musician? Most of this music is beyond me, I wish I could give more feedback then just saying "I loved it" :P

Very relaxing. You really are a convincing classical composer. If I could write like this one day id be pretty happy. Perhaps the horn is a bit intrusive but I didn't seem to mind to much. Do you intend to play it live? I could imagine it being a lot of fun.

I love it. Your piano passages are fantastic, they have a lot of power behind them. The overall mood of the song is kept consistent throughout which is great. Fantastic work!

Here's another file I had lying around in my music archives. I created this tune around a year ago. Like most my music it is more of a collaboration of a number of ideas strung together then an actual full and coherent song. I rather like the melody at times, although I find it fairly repetitive.
