  1. Yes yes very true... Arabian music is centered on one key instrument and melody... I am drowning it a bit. Thanks for the suggestions; I'm working on a similar piece with that in mind. I converted it to mp3... so they sound a bit better (note, this is still the old version, just sounds better) http://www.soundclick.com/updateband/songInfo.cfm?bandID=674814&updated=5107465&name#5107465 Cheers, Erik
  2. Put the Sibelius file. Erik
  3. Loved it. Erik
  4. I really liked the music! The sound itself was hampered by the recording... but there is huge potential behind the music. Cheers, Erik
  5. Um, this is my first piece I have composed (as in completed, which it why it is going to suck:-k) ... I did it over the last couple days. I made it on Sibelius... and I could only export it as a midi. So, please excuse the midi Arabian... Strings.sib
  6. Ahahah, yes this is my first song! No, no I'm afraid there is not idea or concept behind this song. I was just filled with the urge to put some notes down on a piece of paper. Brilliant idea! I shall add another instrument, a counter-melody so to speak. I
  7. Ok, so I bumped into this forum a while back. After listening to the genius of young composers, I said, what the hell! So I grabbed a pen and some paper. And strange and exotic notes were written down. I took my new found song and popped it into Guitar Pro. And well, ya. I have no idea what I was doing with this song. Here it is anyway. Please tell me what I should be doing. P.S. My musical theory is only what I have learned playing my saxophone. Cheers, Erik Opus.mid
