  1. I wanted to see what would happen if I combined the colors of jazz chords with the progressions of the more classical approach, and the piano solo in the beginning just sort of flowed out of me, I don't really know haha
  2. Verrrry very atmospheric. What I find more effective than anything is the large amount of reverb you used, it really brings out that surreal nature of it. Also if you really did just pick up this instrument and start playing and then write for it, I'm quite impressed, you would have me fooled as an expert. =D
  3. I really liked this piece, I very much enjoyed the energy, it has some elements of Chopin in it. I would, however love to hear a bit more than straight arpeggiation in the left hand, or... whatever hand of the four was doing it, to create some more harmonic interest. I really liked your melodies and your textures were very cool. But with a piece like this, with such straightforward harmonies, I feel like it needs a little bit more dissonance with some nonharmonic tones, nothing insane, just a few graces here and there would do it. Definitely held my interest though. Good work!
  4. Haha =P from the time I made this piece, not a single person has picked that out, good job. This is actually from apple's ethnic instruments, which is strange I know, but for some reason the sounds are incredible! I got the EastWest Quantum Leap composer's bundle about a year ago which came with the orchestra, the choir, piano, RA, and various drum things and they're quite good, I would highly suggest all of them.
  5. a slow piece for a small string ensemble, piano, drums, english horn and bass clarinet Winter
  6. A little jazz-like piece with syncopated rhythm done by pizzicato strings and a partially improvised piano line Shifting Sands
  7. A piece I wrote for various chinese instruments, supposed to represent a dichotomy between the sky and they Earth, and their interaction Pristine
