  1. Thank you QcCowboy. I'll do that next time.
  2. It's very nice tbh. I really enjoy the mood you have created. Keep up the good work!
  3. Hi, I have Finale 2006, and I would like to know, how to move a staff up or down. For example if the timpani part was in the woodwind section, how do you move that staff so that it goes down? Also, how can you shrink measures so that when you print out the score, there are no pages with only 4 bars (trying to save paper). Many thanks! Regards, James
  4. Thanks for listening Mr.Graham, the assignment had requirements and I had no choice but to put down the I IV V I progression in the beginning and at the end. By the way, here's the score. Finale 2006 - [Final Project 2].pdf
  5. Thanks for listening maestro3092, and thanks for the reply Matthaeus. This just an update, and I fixed and edited some of the errors from before. This is the new version and the final version for my assignment. Enjoy and cheers, -James Chorale James2.MUS
  6. This reminded me of the Berio Sequenza. It's definitely playable, I might give it a shot sometime. Good work and thanks for sharing.
  7. Hi folks, I like to share small piece of music with you. This was the final project that I had to write for my Tonal Analysis class. All comments are welcomed and enjoy. Note: The Score will be uploaded shortly. Link: Free file hosting by Savefile.com Cheers, -James
  8. Thanks for listening guys. Matthaeus, very detailed comments thanks! If I can say something here: -I added slurs just for the finale sound to be more smooth. -I've just noticed the aug 2nd in bar 5..agh..that's 5 points off -Bar 11 and 12, didn't see that Jump to octave. -If you have an interval of 12 to another 12, does that count as if it was parallel 5ths? -Last chord I had no choice but to double the 3rd. Thanks for pointing those mistakes out. I tried really hard to check for parallel 5ths and octaves, but in the end I guess there's still mistakes. -J
  9. Hi, I like to share this piece that I wrote for my Tonal Analysis class. It's a midterm project and we write a chorale based on Bach's "Der Lieben Sonnen Licht und Pracht". All comments are welcomed and enjoy. Best Regards, James Chorale James.MUS Chorale James.MID
  10. Yes I am interested in doing this, and would like more information.
  11. Nice concerto! Reminded me of the Quantz Concerto. :) It's got the style and the character to it. I enjoyed it very much, thanks for sharing.
  12. Can someone please check this piece for me? Thanks.
  13. Hi guys, Over the years, I've been stuck with classical music, yesterday, I decided to try something new. This is my first attempt at writing a jazz piece. Please expect amateur chord progressions and improper handling of technical elements in jazz. The piece is suppose to depict a very relaxed scenery. All comments are welcomed and please go easy on me, thanks. :) Instruments used: Solo Piano Length: 1:14 min Link: Free file hosting by Savefile.com Cheers, -James
  14. Thanks for listening people, I really appreciate your comments. I will definitely take them into consideration. The piece is basically for an egyptian scene, it's for the game Quintessence, im sure some of you have heard it before.
  15. Thanks to both for you for listening. Ron, I will check out the site.
