  1. Hello everybody, I have yamaha clavinova clp 230 and sometimes I like to play some compositions with transpose key values = 4 or 6. In real upright or grand piano is there anyway to do this? Sorry if this question is silly, but I really need to know.
  2. Hey there, Away from technical and theoretical jargon (which I am not experienced with), I can tell you that I liked and enjoyed this composition. Good Luck!
  3. Hello everybody, I composed a short and easy piano composition "Waiting for Peace". It has some mistakes, but I got tired from re-recording. Please have a listen and feel free to post your opinion. [Removed by Whatever84]
  4. Thanks, music is around us and I listen to music whenever there is a music (in TV, shopping, etc). About the harmony in 00:50 and 1:00 -- It took me an effort to know what do you mean even though I am not sure if I understood you correctly. But, pointing to the time line in my composition helped me a lot.
  5. Thanks ad hoc for your analysis, I really appreciate it.
  6. Thanks ad hoc! It is very important for me to have non-boring compositions. Well, I am really interested in hearing this analysis. I could not pick up this! Thanks alot.
  7. Thanks for your post! Yes, I never heard of it, but now I did. Other comments?
  8. Hello, I have listened to your playing. It sounds nice.
  9. Hello everybody, Few months ago I posted the following post: http://www.youngcomposers.com/forum/piano-composition-15638.html I worked on music 1 and ended with a completed version "Last words..". As I always say, I am not a professional piano composer, with zero background in music theory. Below you can listen to "Last words" and I hope to receive some comments on my composition. http://mariam.ae/composing/lastwords.mp3 Please, don't consider pedaling techniques, I am still a beginner.
  10. I am not sure if I understood you correctly, but thanks alot.
  11. By re-reading the posts again: Could you please explain what do you mean by: Thanks,
  12. Hello David, I appreciate your post very much. Is it? Can you please provide a link for the melody so that I could hear it? And what about the ending and middle parts? Does they remind you with something else? I composed this variation-melody based on my previous composition ( If you heard it (and I think you did) you will notice that they both have the same chord progression except that the first one is a little bit popish. What about the first variation, does it remind you with something else, btw? I remember that I composed my first composition in front of my keyboard and worked on it about one year (not continuous working of course :) ), and ended up with a modest melody of about 3:00 min. The motivation of my first composition was a special event in my life (nothing else). However, when I posted it in music-composition forums, most of the reviews said that it reminds them with a melody or advertisement music but they don't what it is exactly! I think this is my destiny!
  13. Thanks very much. I will do my best.
