  1. Thanks everyone for listen and the kind words!!!! I really appreciate it! The orchestra is Cinematic Studio. It's very versatile and very very easy to work with. I have to touch my mod wheel much less than other libraries I've worked with. The choir is Audio Imperia, and the ethnic instruments is East West Ra. My reverb is Valhalla, very cheap and gives a great sound. Bjarke! It's good to see you here! Thanks!
  2. Hi all, I used to come to this forum all the time. It really helped me grow with my compositions. I've met a lot of composers in IRL from this website. I'm really glad it's still around. Anyway, I wanted come back here and share a piece I wrote for an amusement park. I hope you enjoy! https://youtu.be/CQQofPp2IDo?si=BCQZJbE16Hb1_fhF
  3. Hey Youngcomposers! Been a part of this community for years, and I'm so glad to see it's still growing! I wrote just a little adventure piece with some Celtic influences. I hope you enjoy it! I had a ton of fun writing it. Edit: I also threw this piece with some other ones on spotify. Feel free to take a listen! https://open.spotify.com/album/5I1tcYvpdeea9p3MQ5nrOQ?si=juYyyaajQVKWafkLuKM21Q
  4. Fantasy theme for an upcoming project I'm working on. Short, but gets to the point. I hope you all enjoy it!
  5. Thank you so much for the kind words Rabbival507!!! I'm glad you enjoyed it and took to listening to some other of my tunes!
  6. Hey Eirik! First off, great work! I really love your orchestrations and instrumentation. It's very colorful and full of life. Never boring. Very thematic.
  7. Little fantasy adventure piece I never posted. I hope you guys enjoy it!
  8. Why does The Sea Hawk have to be so freaking good?

  9. I think he's a genius. The music college I went to bowed down to him, so maybe they brainwashed me. None the less, I love him.
  10. My vote goes to Scriabin, no question. Crazy mother**((*&
  11. Thanks everyone for the replies! J: I'm glad you liked em :]. Ya, the hissing really came out. I was going to put more syllabels that didn't include 's' at the end (nos, sus, etc) because of the hissings, but I got kind of lazy. For the second track, I'm not quite sure what I used for the ominous clicking. I was using True Strike, and it might have been in the various percussion section. Nimrodia: Christ sound? Tell me more. Sepharite: Thank you so much! Horns are ProjectSam Brass Classic. Great vst bank.
  12. Hey guys! Two new tracks here.First one is titled Fight the Darkness. Pretty much as generic a piece as you can get. No real themes, just big fun.Second piece is titled My Demons Are Smiling. Had a blast with this one. I have two small themes in it. The beginning chromatic theme, then a basic main motif. Finally, putting the two together at the end. Let me know what you think!~Jon Fight the Darkness & My Demons Are Smiling
  13. oooh very cool piece. The build up in the beginning is great. Your little interlude is very sweet. Some of the notes don't feel too "connected" though. The legato needs a little work. Nice climax at the end. Gets a tad repetitive though. I would love to hear a horn or string melody rising up at the end with your harmony to give it that added push! Overall great work!
  14. Good to be back!
