Good work! I would say that you allowed enough "wiggle-room" in the rhythmic content so as not to emphasize the 7/8 time signature too little or too much (for my taste at least).
Also, I would say it is suitable for a variety of orchestrations. Guitar + guitar, guitar + any solo instrument, King Crimson with drums, you name it!
I often like it when the time signature is not enforced beforehand. Instead, e.g. you can think of a melody without any time signature restrictions. The natural evolution of the melody could then determine a harmonic pulse, which in turn would determine the formal time signature. I guess with that viewpoint, the time signature is reduced to a notational tool :-)
