  1. Good work! I would say that you allowed enough "wiggle-room" in the rhythmic content so as not to emphasize the 7/8 time signature too little or too much (for my taste at least). Also, I would say it is suitable for a variety of orchestrations. Guitar + guitar, guitar + any solo instrument, King Crimson with drums, you name it! I often like it when the time signature is not enforced beforehand. Instead, e.g. you can think of a melody without any time signature restrictions. The natural evolution of the melody could then determine a harmonic pulse, which in turn would determine the formal time signature. I guess with that viewpoint, the time signature is reduced to a notational tool :-)
  2. Isn't this mostly just due to low quality soundfonts? Perhaps some here know of quality piano sounds, either free or not. I too would be interested.
  3. There are some similarities to the third movement of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No.3. Nice move with the cello at 0:50-0:53. The ending appearing at 1:10 came as a surprise. I would have liked it a bit longer with some more development.
  4. This is very subjective. For me, some music suffers more from a bad performance than other music does. I find that I enjoy Bach a lot even when the performance is quite poor. Paganini on the other hand, needs to have a higher standard for me to enjoy it as much. The same goes for instrument tone. Some music will suffer more from a bad tone. Torquil

  6. Just so that people know at once, this music has been incorrectly classified. Torquil
