  1. Paranoid- Yea, I basically just whipped this up, copying a lot of stuff from the original aria. I had in mind the old "Annie Laurie" and other standard young soloist stuff my teacher gave me as a kid. Jawoodruff - I got the introduction from what comes before Mabel's aria in "Pirates of Penzence". My aim is to get the player to do some research and to hopefully listen to it themselves in order to figure out why I did it. Once you are familiar with the entire show, it actually flows together quite nicely.
  2. I was just jealous that I couldn't sing such a great aria. So I wrote it out on something I could play instead. Enjoy. Poor Wandering One Variations
  3. Well, that's quite odd. It appears the score to my fugue for some reason took the place of the actually (imaginary) pdf score. Ignore that.
  4. So, I got bored, and I figured, "You know what would be a horrible idea?" This is the product. Of course, this is actually by system of a down, and I do not plan in actually doing anything with this. So, I guess, enjoy?Oh, and my ps to pdf converter is being malfunctioning, so until I can get that working, you'll only have the sound. I'm sorry. (If anyone has any ideas, I'm open to them). Chop Suey
  5. At 28, I kind of deviated from Bach and created something myself. I thought it sounded nice. I had a group play it for me (I'm actually a brass player, and needed string player opinions) and one of them asked how to describe that section. The only way I could think of at the time was, "well, it's like children on a playground in communist Russia. They're having fun and playing around, but, well, they're in communist Russia".
  6. SimenN, you sure do know your fugues. That is my favorite one and, being my first fugue, I wanted to base it close to something I know. I'm currently experimenting with different things and ideas. I have a bigger work I'm working on, though, so that's consuming most of my time.
  7. A little commercial for my taste, but it sounds really cool. I love the clarinet solo thrown in there. Take these ideas and expand on them. Play around, see what you get. There is a lot of potential here in need of experimentation.
  8. I finally learned how to get everything up. I'm not exactly a computer whiz, so it took me a little while and a lot of googling. But, here it is. Please let me know what you think!
  9. It is a fugue in the Bach style. Made for two violins, viola, and cello. Fugue in B Minor
