Imaginary storyline: He knows that he can't stay, and she knows that she can't go with him... The frame set of a sad scene in a romantic drama/thriller... With Love from China

Ok, here's a little something I've been working on. The storyline is imaginary - so no real cues to go for... But I imagine it accomplishing an ending scene in a movie, where a guy is just about to jump on a plane to follow his girl, who he wants to marry after changing his mind (sounds cliché? well, it is :) ).
