  1. Could anybody direct me to an helpful website which can help me learn a bit more about composing? I have been basically been trying for a week, and most of the time when i look for a website, it is either to advanced, or something off-topic.. If anybody could direct me to some resources, it would be most apprciated.
  2. :) It dosen't support my file type... it's just a mp3 sigh...
  3. Awesome. Nice to see another late-teen composer in the same country as me :) Thank you for the reply, hope to learn/hear some nice music from you :)
  4. Hey everyone, This is my first composition EVER (if you call it a composition :) ) I thought i would try the basic C major key since it's very easy to compose with since there is no sharps or flats.. I know VERY little about composition, all i know about (i think) is basic counterpoint, but this was basically just a fun little project to exercise my musical side (i guess :) ) please no trolling, i would like to know the pros and cons (if there is any pros). Thank you
  5. I kind of felt an evil side to the piece at the start, which i love. Reminds me alot of toccata and fugue in D minor by bach, actually after i listened to this i decided to turn it on lol. 8/10 is my score (who cares hehe).
  6. I didn't really feel direction in this composition, reminds me a of a curilli piece except curilli (is that even how it's spelled? hehe) kind of has an melodical flow that directs us to the next part of the piece.
  7. Good evening everyone :) I discoverd this forum just today, and enjoyed veiwing interesting discussions that spawn here from very talented composers. I started taking interest of music in 17, starting on an electric guitar. At first I was the stereotypical metal junkie teenager, but i'm starting to grow out of the aggresive style of music and into the amazing world of classical, and shifted to a classical guitar :) I'm 19 now, and my progress is somewhat.... Struggling but i'm enjoying myself while trying so dose it matter? A week ago, i started getting interested in composing for myself, my compositions sound like a baby getting hit by a cat, but once again, i'm enjoying it so that's ok. If anybody wants to help me out in anyway, they're welcome, i'm in no hurry so take your time if you don't feel like helping me right now (wow do i need it :) ) also my e-mail is in my profile i think? so e-mail if you want to contact (for what ever reason) and thanks for letting me be part of the community. Keep composing wonderful music. Daniel.
