  1. Bassoon plays in Bass clef and Tenor clef, so the higher notes should be in Tenor clef not Alto. I'm a bassoonist.
  2. Awesome! I loved listening to it, it was very interesting throughout! I listened to your "Last Survivor" piece as well and I'm loving everything you've done so far. Quite the inspiration! Thank you, and I'm looking forward to hearing more!
  3. It's the first big snowfall of the year today and I was inspired to start write this new piece. This is the opening fanfare, and I think it has a nice holiday-type feel to it. This is my first upload to YC, so I'm anxious to hear what all of you have to say. Any and all feedback is welcome! Winter Fanfare
  4. I liked this a lot! The recording sounded very nice to me especially if you recorded this at home, although there were a few muddy spots they weren't all that bad. They didn't take away from the music at least! Also, I liked the airy, relaxed sort of feeling the recording has, I'm not sure exactly how to describe it, but I hope you get what I mean. Was that a theremin at the beginning, unless I'm mistaken?
  5. I very much agree with Wendell, this very well suited for a boss fight or battle scene (personally, Soul Calibur came to mind). I like the piano with the orchestra, it gives a nice and simple beginning to a complex and wonderful piece. The chimes are a very nice touch as well.
  6. I'm not a horn player, but I'd say that as long as it sounds the same and is in tune there shouldn't be a problem with using a different fingerings. However, with most instruments different fingerings are sharper or flatter than others so just find the one that suits you best. If they're all pretty much in tune, do whatever is easier! Also, it depends on what you're playing in context, different fingerings for notes suit the situation better than others. Hope this helps!
  7. Very nice! I could definitely hear the Fiddler influence and I LOVED the accelerando part at :59-ish. Good job!
