  1. I have a lot of goal about composition: -learn "styles" of writing Aka baroque galant Debussy atonal pendiatonism and contemporary. -being able to write a major work(a symphonie, requiem or a free form long pièce) -maybe trying to expand some research about music effect in medecine or extrapolate about a new way to think music.
  2. well ty henry for your review, musescore is strange indeed. the reason you tell to change the notation is because thoses arent supposed yo be written like that in that key signature?
  3. its like musescore is doing the dynamic job by itself, really strange.
  4. So i m working on a little quartet piece and i feel like the bass line got a harsh treatment since i had no clues how to make her moove in a better way (boring writing). maybe i should study more^^. I have also some dynamics problems with musescore4 so i did not any dynamics notations except few ones for being able to hear the voices.
  5. concerto grosso no1.mp3 concerto grosso no1.pdf I need somebody to check somes counterpoint rules and to help me to work on the maybe strucure or harmony?
  6. well an other version
  7. Beautiful motet and exellent counterpoint 🙂
  8. Lullaby.mp3 had this theme in my head from yesterday and decided to write down this afternoon i kept the same chords prog and add a little variations somewhere tried to link and blend acoustic and electronic instruments
  9. my singing abilities sucks btw
  10. Well ty for your advice! Diving in quartet scores is something i should definitely do. However if choose that orchestration its not to kill it 🙂 I wont remove vocals because they are "not needed" in my pieces. I do have a daw but no money to buy good samples so its hard too setup an good audio library.
  11. Just daily improvisation, Love that quartal harmony
  12. Finished that piece while struggling to write for strings, any advices are good to hear.
  13. oh hi fiddeou its been a while we havent got a chat on discord! like 3 years !! nice to see that your still composing 🙂 and gorgeous piece by the way, the stretching effect is really cool
  14. I was thinking about démon god^^
  15. Really enjoyed the beginning, etheral. Some castle in the Sky Vibe. You love hisaishi dont you?^^ The battle track is fine but maybe too static and repetitive because of the same used chords and no Big changes on the syncope. The bass Line is cool
  16. Oh interesting i feel tension at the beginning. I know your inspiration and you nailed the orchestration 🤪
  17. an update on the track i think i finished it but i just need to add dynamics to the track
  18. i borrowed a theme from an anime called monster, sadly couldnt find the track out of the anime so i wrote it down and inspired from that did an other piece i ll continue it tomorrow because not satisfied about the direction in the last bars
  19. really great and interesting orchestration ! digne d'un opéra ou d'un film disney 🙂 j'ai pensé au bossu de notre dame très bien écrit
  20. well i discovered zelenka one year ago and i cant deny how beautiful his music is.The miserere in cminor suprised me so much that i did a deep dive into his sacred music.I m obsessed by his both miserere in c and d minor. I think zelenka is as good as bach. i m going to listen to the trio sonata then 🙂 My composition process is unorthodox since i learned playing music by myself and only by earing pieces at the start(i still struggle to read music but i m training). I used the piano at the beginning but then i switched to a digital audio workstation and a midi keyboard. I just play what i ear in my brain and put it down with the midi keyboard. i often do a chords progression trying to respect the rules and then write the voices on the top. its a plague to transfer midi from a daw to musescore... I wanna upgrade so i m currently teaching myself theory and composition through books, analysis and youtube video. my goal is achieving counterpoint and harmonic mastery to write in baroque style 🙂 then i ll blend this with the style of my famous contemporary video game and movie composers to write music for media
  21. Beautiful music victor !! really nice orchestration. the organ with strings remind me duruflé requiem. love the minimalist approach and changing between intruments and dynamics, it help to not loose attention to the piece. i wrote something with a looklike vibe years ago inspired by maurice duruflé MD orchestration.mp3
  22. really interesting piece ! i love that baroque/classical vibe ur suspensions are beautiful was expecting an interrupted cadance bar 186 ^^ bar 316 to 318 wtf x)
  23. fantastic piece and great usage of dynamic !
