bob_the_sane Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 You can take my spot, I'm not going to be able to do it...
Erik Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Well if that's what you say I'll take it over. Unless you'd change your mind. Might I ask what it is that makes you unable to do it?
bob_the_sane Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I'm not going to be able to beacause I have about five other projects going on...
Erik Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Ah I see. Just wanted to make sure you didn't give it to me over pity because it's not like I'd die if I didn't get to do it :) Well good luck to you and your other 5 projects then. Mind you, there's no turning back now cause I've already started :) It was Chaos Temple right?
Nirvana69 Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Anders, did you get the updated score I sent you?
Guest Anders Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Yes. I'll look it over tomorrow when I have access to a pdf viewer.
blueygh2 Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Aw that's really nice of you, but I'm hesitating, because the prelude may not be the easiest to arrange. Honestly I would have preferred the battle theme :D or something easier like Matoya's Cave (I got that song decades ago,... such a good song...) :) It might as well be the last chance to participate... If I'm allowed, I would like to think about it a little before deciding?
Nirvana69 Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 It's no problem. Take as much time as you want.
Guest Anders Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 It's not a song, by the way. A song is a composition for voice. 8 bit nintendo synth is hardly voice. :) It's a piece or, I guess, ''track''. (would be more fitting here)
blueygh2 Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Nirvana, I won't take the prelude, but I'm very glad that you would have given it to me. Thanks anyway.
James H. Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I thought somebody deleted this thread... I never saw it until now.
Anders Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 *casts life 2 on thread* get it? Final fantasy joke, y'know... *promptly starts working on his arrangement*
Alan Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 *Casts Silencega on Anders* *Thinks about making an arrangement for this thread...*
Saiming Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 *Casts Doom on this thread* P.S. Is there any sign of progress so far ?
Fox Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Bah! I've never been mroe enthused about a project I'm not part of! DAMN i wish I could write for Piano!!!!
Anders Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Mouahaha, indeed. This project will be legendary - all around the net people will speak of the YC FFI Piano Album. :w00t: (it needs a cooler name) And, Saiming, yes. I've received 2 arrangements through e-mail. Tyler 1 and Tyler 2 (oboehazzard and nirvana69) sent me their finished works. *Casts Silencega on Anders* Way to waste your MP!
Saiming Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Way to waste your MP! Anders, you know how Americans work. Always as big as possible and as much overkill as possible
Nigel Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Let's do the FF2 piano album please... :( I wanted to arrange but everything's taken.
Nirvana69 Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 *wipes eyes in disbelief* This thread is alive...again? Amazing! I still have yet to do the prelude, hehe. I'll trade it for something else if anyone is willing. I'd think FFVII would be the best album to do next (though my personal favorite FF album is FFX). The existing piano arrangements album really wasn't that good and MIDI's are availble for practically the whole soundtrack.
Alan Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Way to waste your MP! It recharges automatically with the appropriate skills in FFIX! :D Speaking of- that game has my favorite soundtrack of all the FF games, minus FF3. That one RULES!! So where would we go to find the original material to make these arrangements? Or can I not participate because I wasn't entered into the project?
