Alice in Wonderland Opera?

Has anyone heard any music from Unsuk Chin's new opera Alice in Wonderland. It looks really cool.

I was going to write one too, because i was so suprised it had never been done, but I have a better story to work off of.

It's MINE!!!! I am the one having all the work, reading The Annotated Alice (of both books) to make a set of two operas (one on each book), and trying to understand plenty of the symbolisms to give them the right tone and energy!

I heard that Ligeti was going to write an Alice in Wonderland opera, too, but now he's dead :) so there's one less rival to worry about

Well, ironically enough I had begun work on setting several of Lewis Carrol's works to music. The first one I was going to do was Alice in Wonderland. Not an opera (that'd be too mean. I want Berlioz to do it first so I can steal all the nice melodies) but more like narrated music.

There was someone on this board with a bunch of scketches for an Opera of Snow White. Wasn't it Majesty?
