Lord Skye Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 (This seems to be the best forum to post this question in) There aren't any comp professors around here and I want to get some formal education before college. Is there a way I could contact a teacher and get one-on-one lessons online, paying for them with PayPal or something? I don't know if there are people that actively do this. Or if not, would one of the administrators be willing? :) I don't mean the interactive lessons we have here, but more personal instruction over a longer period of time. Quote
Tumababa Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 You'd be willing to pay? I'm sure most of them would leap at the chance. Hell, I'd be interested. You're thinking of something over msn perhaps? Quote
Lord Skye Posted October 21, 2007 Author Posted October 21, 2007 Yeah, just something I can actively talk to the guy with and send him Finale things. Quote
Tumababa Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 When you think about it, this place is actually a good spot to find a composition teacher. You could filter through a potential teacher's posts to find out exactly where they're at and if/how they might be able to shed perspective on your music. I'm availiable on MSN if you want to send me something. tumababa@hotmail.com Quote
Lord Skye Posted October 23, 2007 Author Posted October 23, 2007 Added. I don't know anything about you so I guess we'll chat sometime and I'll decide if I want to pay you for lessons. Quote
Tumababa Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 My internet is down right now(Ah! Timing) but I'm on it. Hope to see you online. Quote
