Percussion Area in Upload section?

Would anyone else consider this? I know percussion music is the red-headed stepchild of composition, :whistling: but I still feel that it's a vaild area of exploration and one that isn't represented by the Avant-Garde and Electronic section.

Not enough percussion pieces are posted here to make such a section worth-while. In any case, percussion can fit under Chamber (/small ensemble).

That works for me, I wouldn't have considered posting a percussion piece in the Chamber, so now I know.

Maybe we could add a little note to that forum (Chamber Music) that percussion ensemble works may be posted in that forum as well? It would be more inviting. As a matter of fact, from the variety of works being posted in that forum, I suggest the name be amended to something like "Chamber and Mixed Ensemble". "Upload compositions that use smaller-scale orchestration not requiring a conductor, such as string quartets, small ensemble, and percussion ensemble."

Any takes?

"Chamber music" merely refers to small-scale instrumentation, thus percussion ensemble is already covered (provided we're not talking about a massive percussion ensemble).
