bloycey Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 i'm looking for a relatively challanging trombone piece to play for my end of year concert next year... i'm studying for my grade 8 trinity college exams (as an indicator of my skill level) I am currently tackling "Morceau Syphonique" by Guilmant and The David trombone concerto. But i also like to play jazz pieces... Maybe somebody out there has a suggestion for a piece i can play...something that i should be able to perfect in a year... (yeah, it's a long time) well thanks i guess.... :) Quote

James H. Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Lindberg has indeed played it, yes. Quite exceptionally, might I add. Quote
Guest Ascold Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 There is a wonderful Concerto for trombone by G.C.Wagenseil - it isn't very hard. Practically one of the most beautiful trombone concertos in history. Quote
