bob stole my cookie Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 I know a few piece-rating systems have been proposed and rejected over the years but what about a way for members to give pieces they like a "thumbs up"? Each thread in the upload forums could have a counter that records the number of members who have shown their approval and the member profiles (even just as a link below their member number beside their posts) a link to a page or a java window with all the pieces they've marked. The point of it would be so that if you like a piece and would recommend it to others, you can stamp it and if you happen to like a lot of the pieces someone else likes, you can quickly find other pieces they happen to have enjoyed. ...I just don't know how you could get something like that to work... :ermm: But... it's an idea  Quote
Mike Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Ratings will be supported in the music management system (when it materialises, which it will eventually). Could look into doing something similar on the forum, but I'm presently focusing my attention on cooking up something else...all will be revealed soonish. ;) Quote
