Will Kirk Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 I have recently made friends with the owner of a local pro level studio, my band and I have already made our demo recording there and are very happy with the outcome. He has also offered to record my guitar work into perhaps a 12 track full fledged album for about 400$. However, I am extremely tight for money, so I might only be doing something along the lines of a 6 to 8 track CD. My main question was this, would a professionally recorded CD make a good impression on a music college or conservatory for admittance purposes? Any advice would be helpful Quote
Nigel Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 It's a great opportunity I think. Go for it. Get a barcode and you can sell your cds too :) Quote
