Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Classical.Marimba - Classical Marimba League "The CML's Composition Competition is designed to encourage the development and enhancement of career opportunities for emerging young composers, honoring the oeuvres and aesthetics of historically notable styles, while also inspiring the advancement of new music for the marimba." This is a little something I found while randomly browsing, I thought it might be of interest for some members of YC. This year's title is 'A Renaissance of Tonality'. This competition is held by the Classical Marimba League. The deadline for entries is March 10th, 2008, and the awards include publication, premiere performance, and live recordings.
