nikolas Posted January 28, 2008 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Okie! I have 6 scores that need look at! :D Total of pages around 80-90. Small-ish scores (solo piano or small groups). I want thorough and detailed feedback about everything. These scores are going to be (self) published probably, so I need them perfect! This is a semi-paid job. I know that I'm looking for someone who knows what they're doing. I don't think that my expenses can excuse any kind of fee, but I would be glad to discuss it, depending on your experience. Alternatively, I can offer a free copy of the scores (printed professionally, if everything goes according to plan), and a free copy of the CD (pressed professionally). In order for me to decide, I could use a sample of your scores, or even a whole score, if not a few pages? Basic Procedure: 1. After I decide who should help me out we agree on the financial (if you want to do it for free, in exchange of a copy of the scores AND the CD, by all means say so!). If you are to be paid paypal, I'm afraid is the only option, unless you feel confident enough to give me your bank account, through e-mail and I put the money in (Internet Banking) 2. The scores are in Finale 2000 format (*.MUS) and I can provide those and also pdf files. I cannot provide printed scores. It doesn't make sense. If you want go ahead and print them yourselves, put the notes on and ship it back to me. (which is a welcomed way of doing this kind of feedback really. With a red pen, or even pencil kill the scores!) 3. Word docs are also most welcome (I'm on Windows, but Mac docs are also readable). A simple form ("Page 5, bar 56, vln I, the 1/4th is... blah blah") is most welcomed as well. Be prepared that we may need to exchange a few e-mails for clarifications... 4. You do NOT need to edit any Finale document. All editing will be done by me. As for the request itself, I would love to help you out, but I don't know if you consider my experience enough to warrant being of any use to you. In any case, don't fret about the thread placement and let me know if there's anything I can help with. Keep in mind that I'm also a layout editor, so if you want it to look a bit more professional in terms of fonts and such, I can give them all a once-over from THAT perspective. Good luck!
