blueygh2 Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Does anyone know this song for string orchestra, with quickly repeated notes, then up down up down down, repeating that note again,... It's rather catchy, moving forward with determination. I didn't find anything on musipedia... I tried writing it down, but it doesn't work... It has been played on fashion defil whatisit1.mid Quote
Nigel Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 It's the waltz from Shostakovich's Jazz Suites. I've heard a saxophone version of it before, so very sexy. :) Quote
Guest QcCowboy Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Very, very sadly, this piece is being OVERKILLED on the radio here. It plays literally every hour. And has for the past 2 years on the only real classical radio station we have. Hearing this peice ONCE I'd say "wow, I LOVE it" Hearing it over and over and over and........... I am SO sick of hearing it, and it really pisses me off, because ... it's a GREAT piece!!! Quote
blueygh2 Posted April 17, 2008 Author Posted April 17, 2008 Ha! You're right!! It's that piece! I found it on musipedia, but I didn't think that it could be that piece... Thank you. Now all I need is that string orchestra piece... I contacted Vuitton, to see if they could tell me what piece it is, because it has been playing on one of their defil Quote
