cygnusdei Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Apologies if this has been discussed before. Are there rules of thumb on responding to reviews of your work? Some areas that are kind of grey to me: 1. Do we need to address the reviewer by name? 2. Do we need to respond to every review? To me, general comments (perhaps) do not require a respond whereas specific ones do. 3. What is an acceptable delay before responding to the last review? Any other? Quote
nikolas Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 1. It is nice for anyone reading the thread to know to whom you are talking. Right now it is obvious that I'm talking to you, cyqnusdei! 2. I usually do reply. A simple "wow great work", deserves a "hey x member. Thanks". It's only kind and shows that you appreciate the time, that person, took to listen to your work. 3. You could be busy, or you could skip a review (if this is what you mean), if you missed it or something. Some common sense probably, but anyhow... Quote
