132will Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 Hey, can anyone recommend a pocket size, I actually mean 'pocket' size :P (pretty small!!!) notepad of manuscript paper, so that when im about, I can jot down a melody that comes to my head, thanks in advance! Quote
Mark Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 You could try printing off an A4 sheet of manuscript paper, folding into four and sticking in your pocket - works for me ;) Quote
jujimufu Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 Urtext has some really cool manuscript notepads which are pretty small (but you can always cut them into smaller notepads, if you feel like it). I always carry one of those in my wallet (I've cut it to a smaller size myself, mwahaha) Quote
robinjessome Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 Natalie and I use Moleskins, which are really nice. Moleskine Pocket Music Notebook (3.5 x 5.5), MoleskineUS Quote
Gardener Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 Yeah, I use a moleskine too. I love it. (The only thing I'm missing is that there's no pencil holder attached to it.) They really seem to be en vogue lately. I see them in so many shops. (well, most without staves) Quote
jujimufu Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 nah, moleskines are too thick/heavy to carry in your pocket, methinks.. Quote
Gardener Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Ah, well, yes. It's not really pocket size. But I almost always either have a bag or a coat with inside pockets with me. Quote
Marius Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 That's so cute! :O I am tempted to get one now. Robin, do you order yours off the site or did you find a place that carries them around here? Quote

There's a few places that carry them around here. Any decent stationary/book store should have them (I think even Chapters or Borders carry them). :) Quote
johnsamuelpike Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 I like the smallest size manuscript paper too. The smaller the better. I really prefer Passantino papers. Quote
