SSC Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 I kind of get the feeling this isn't the right subforum for that sort of question . . . Quote
1NoobMunkey Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Well, the ABRSMDip/LRSM/FRSM syllabus has a list of music that qualifies for each level, maybe you can take a look at that. Quote
Pieter Smal Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 It depends from institution to institution. You need to request a booklet with all the pieces for the grades FOR A SPESIFIC INSTRUMENT. Hope it helps! Quote
Daniel Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 ABRSM is probably the main one used in the UK, and it's actually rather common worldwide, so it's a fair thing to state an ABRSM grade. They go from 1-8 and then you can get a Diploma, Licentiate, and Fellowship of the Royal Schools of music. I don't think I've met many FRSM holders. :P I know a lot of people with DipABRSM, but it's still really hard to get. Quote
Qmwne235 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 So? That wasn't the point. It is funny how people just assume they know what you're talking about. I know, I just felt like ranting. Quote
