Anders Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 I can never forgive that girl for singing in english. Norwegian artists must sing in obscure dialects that only us dialectologists understand! I sorta like those songs though, as much as it pains me to say it. :< Here's some more earsex: YouTube - G Quote
SSC Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 Well she's apparently not so typical Norwegian.. or something. I like her English (amongst other things...) Quote

DAI Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I totally love Japanese Pop/Anime music. Here are two songs from Ranma1/2 I like: YouTube - ?????? Quote
jcharney Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 If you haven't heard Jaga Jazzist, you need to. My favorite band, they are the most amazing synthesis of electronic music and jazz. Their harmonies and textures are so complex and varied, not to mention catchy as hell! Even though they're kinda moving in a post-rock direction lately, they're all fabulous musicians. I recommend their "A Livingroom Hush" album. Some representative (but weird as hell) music videos: YouTube - Jaga Jazzist - Day Quote
Guest QcCowboy Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I love some of the pop tunes from some video games... this happens to be my favourite. I prefer the Japanese version, but here are both english and japanese versions (the videos have nothing to do with teh songs.. they're not even from the same game) English version Japanese version Quote
SSC Posted December 20, 2008 Author Posted December 20, 2008 That's ... uh. I like the costumes and the girls are cute alright, but... something about it just doesn't work. They should've done more stuff in that video than just have'em dance like that. Dunno. Maybe some explosions. Quote

DeepSeaSeamus Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Most people here seem to disregard rap completely and I can see why because most of the genre is abhorrent garbage. BUT some of it I think is great, take this for example YouTube - Nas -- One Love I think there is a certain poetic beauty to the lyrics despite the crudeness of some of the language used and if you can look past the the "dirty words" aspect you can see a certain brilliance in the complex rhyme patterns and lyrical cleverness. Christian Opperman Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 ^That's such a classic album and song. ~Christian Quote

pliorius Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 i love having sex to simple pop r'n'b or bosa nova or whatever that doesn't require extra attention. so, if not something else, it's good for loving. test passed. Quote
Ferkungamabooboo Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 And finally something that is more "out there": YouTube - Koenjihyakkei - Lussesoggi Zomn I love japanese Zheul! Man, that's a lot more like Magma than any of the Japanese Zeul I've heard. (Which granted, was just ruins) Magma's definitely a diamond in the rough. Quote

robinjessome Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 You've never heard that song before. No! :( Sorry....I live in a jazzcentric world. Sometimes it takes a little while for the indie-underground-anti-pop to filter through. Quote
