matt.kaner Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Hey this is a bit of long shot, but does anyone know any music that depicts tombs/vampires. I'm meant to be setting this Yeates poem , for cello, baritone, bass clarinet and piano, and i'm having some trouble getting ideas. I've already had a good look at the obvious examples - Mussorgsky's Catacombs from Pictures at and Exhibition and Respighi's Pines near a Catacomb. Anyone know of anything more contemporary? Quote

Guest QcCowboy Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 how about "catacombs" from one of Respighi's Roman tone poems? I forget which one, however... Pines of Rome? Quote
