Instruments forum/board?

Is there any active board here, or forum elsewhere for young people to discuss instruments they play and for advice and such on playing instruments?

I'm trying to self teach flute this holiday and would be interested to meet other people that are learning flute and play other instruments to get their advice on where to start.

So far my skill is about grade 1, I can just about manage a c major 2 octaves and playing troika :P

The Performance section seems to work just fine.

I'm a flute player that taught myself how to play oboe and a few percussion instruments on my own. If you need help, I'd be glad to help, just pm me.

13 year French Horn veteran here, also know more than enough on the functions and abilities of all of the brass instruments. just thought i'd put in my 2 cents.
