RadonUlzer Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Okay, let me think about it and go through my stuff. Cool! There's no hurry though, I'll be out of town with no internet this week. Quote
Qmwne235 Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 I don't have much of a repertoire because I don't have much music, nor do I have a teacher who can force me to practice one piece long enough for me to become good at it. So, here's a list of pieces/part of pieces I have and that I can play decently well (all for viola): Bowen Viola Sonata in C Movement 2* Honegger Viola Sonata Movements 2 and 3 Bruch Romanze* Vaughan Williams Fantasia on Greensleeves and Six Studies in English Folksong Bloch Meditation and Processional Suite Telemann Concerto in G Beethoven Notturno* *Still working on it Quote
Qmwne235 Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 ^Yeah, but you're still so much better. I've always wanted to play Der Schwanendreher and Walton, but they're still way above my level. I'm expecting another 5 years until I can even begin to play them remotely well. On the bright side, I can play most of the first pages of both. My repertoire consists mostly of whatever pieces I can find on the Internet. You can find the Honegger sonata on IMSLP (which, if you didn't know, is up and running again). I'm starting to work on the Bloch Unfinished Suite now (which I did have to pay for). Quote
