How bad is this?

I'm going deaf and I have a constant ringing in my ears anymore so I have a hard time telling if things are even remotely sounding decent at all.

I wrote a little orchestration to sing a little ditty for a woman on the Internet. I'm sure everyone there will tell me that it sounds great. But I know I can trust you guys to tell me that truth. ;)

By the way I know the singing sucks, but what's the music sound like? Does it sound half-way decent? Or really bad? I know it's boring too, but what I'm really asking is whether there any harmonies that are clashing really bad? I especially can't hear in the higher ranges. In fact my hearing's about shot actually.

PS. Ringing in the ear can be caused by circulation problems. Fresh air, vegetables and some excercise every day may help. I hope your problem is not so serious, if it is, I'm sorry.

I'm so sorry to hear you might be losing your hearing; with luck, it's something temporary caused by temporary exposure to loud sound, pressure, lack of nutrition or something similar. I too hope it's nothing serious, and extend my hope.

Thanks for the encouragement. I was in an explosion when I was young and my eardrums were permanently damaged. So I've been hearing the ring in my ears for years now. But lately it's been getting worse. Could be I need more exercise. I've been truly guilty of be lethargic lately.

I guess I need to get off my butt.

She did like the piece and everyone on that sight is raving about it. Of course, they would even if it was terrible. ;)

I thought that because of the simplicity, it was actually more elegantly done. The lyrics were gorgeously written, I may add. I, too, hope that its not too serious because I really want to hear more of your compositions.
