AronW Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Does anyone know of any competitions into which a young composer can enter their piano pieces? The only one I've found is the BBC Young Composers, which doesn't allow pieces of more than 5 minutes, which I find really restricting. I wondered if anyone else might know of anything more. Thanks, Aron. Quote
ex_penumbrae Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 You should keep a regular eye on the opportunities sections of the SPNM & BMIC websites; they feature lists of current competitions, & piano competitions frequently appear. tomokioh Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 You can enter the Mcdonald's Performing Arts Challenge...Composition/Original Works Section. It's quite challenging Quote
