w.shipley Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I'm having a problem. In Beethoven's 9th symphony, the orchestra/choir have a dramatic chromatic mediant. Which movement is that? I can't remember and it's driving me crazy. Quote
Ananth Balijepalli Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 If there was a choir doing it, then it was the fourth movement (duh!) that's the only one with a choir in it... possibly in the end because that was the most dramatic part for me. Quote
Waldstein Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Maybe the part right before the climax? In this fragment of the 4th, the part that I think you mean is at the 17 second mark or so. Quote
