composerorganist Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I think the classical composers would love exploring this fascinating overview of the history of using turntables and their digital equivalents as musical instruments. There is even a section on possible ways of notating the turntablists part for a turntable concerto. Very cool!!! NewMusicBox PS. Corbin - you'd love this especially. Quote
Gardener Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Awesome site! It also names some of my favourite musicians working with turntables. The history section is extremely condensed and therefore of course simplified, but for that it actually seems to be quite good and rather accurate (as far as I can tell with my limited knowledge). composerorganist Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 Ferk - OMG -- I love the TTM site. Damn where do you find this! Corbin - new you'd like this and with the TTM site, I expect to hear some cool turntable music from you soon (or any of you soon)! Would love to do it myself but too many other things on my plate right now. Quote
