Somebody help me identify this piece!?

Would anybody please tell me what this is? This piece used to accompany an advert in the UK about 15 years ago and it has stuck with me since. Every now and then it comes back to me, but I can't actually listen to it since I don't have a clue what it is.

Here's the basic chord progression, hopefully it should be enough to work it out.

Cheers!

I know they used it in an episode of The Simpsons years ago over and over again, whenever Marge was having a memory about the vacations she took when she was little. Totally irrelevant, but just throwing it out there.

I know both of them but I'm terrible with titles. How are they not classical?

Anyway, have any of you ever used this program where you hook a keyboard to a computer and play the first six notes of a melody and it tells you the piece it is? It's pretty cool..

Sorry Cygnusdei, I wish I could repay the favour but I've got no real idea as to the identity of those 2 tracks. Is there a chance they're from a video game, sounds kind of final fantasy-ish. It wouldn't suprise me if those tracks were from Japanese video games..

What's the name of this program!? Sounds interesting...

Well the very opening sounds like "Joy To The World"..! Maybe I'm just hearing the carols constantly going around in my head these days in everything I listen to..

Sorry, don't know what that one is! And I can't remember the name of the software, either!
