November 26, 200817 yr For those of you who dont know, Composer Central (ComposerCentral) is a site that is sometimes advertised on here where you can upload your compositions to be sold. This site seems like an amazing idea that could possibly go hideously wrong, I'm not sure if there have been any problems with it so I though I would ask you guys in hopes that someone would no. Just by the way, I've read through there terms and conditions and it all seems legit but it still seems like something to be wary off, any advice would be MUCH appreciated.
November 26, 200817 yr Looks legit, but unworthy of your time. It seems to be a cafepress for composers.
November 27, 200817 yr Author Ya, it seems like there are only 20 or 30 compositions on it as well so its hard to say if it sees any customers at all
November 29, 200817 yr heh... I'd never sell my stuff :P If I want to get it around I'd just let people have copies rather than selling it.

I'm not impressed, but I do think a quality site doing something similar with a much larger userbase of contributing composers could be a pretty good online project. It seems that this site is more like a school project for a business class than an actual business venture. I could be wrong though. Regardless, I think the concept is there, but the content is lacking.
November 29, 200817 yr do people actually buy stuff from there? if they do, its a good way to earn pocket money.....
