January 31, 200917 yr Hi, I'm at the very least applying to BUTI Tanglewood for this summers composition program. The deadline is fast approaching. They want 3 scores, I only have one I'm willing to send at this point. What do you think they are looking for? 3 pieces, ~3-5 minutes/each? Has anybody here ever gone to Tanglewood, or know anything about it? Or any other similar camps? I'd really like an environment focused on new music... especially dealing with more contemporary techniques. Or, you know, just discuss!
January 31, 200917 yr I've been to Tanglewood. AMAZING!!!! im applying again this year. Just send 3 pieces of contrasting styles that show your compositional style.
